OSHA makes many workplaces keep an injury log (Form 300), post a yearly summary on the wall (Form 300A), and — if you are in a listed industry with enough people — send that summary to OSHA through a website called the ITA. Cite300 is the tool for that job. It is not a lawyer, and it does not file with OSHA for you.

1. Do we have to file?

Enter your industry code (NAICS) and peak headcount. Cite300 checks OSHA’s published list. If it cannot tell, it refuses instead of guessing.

2. Is this injury recordable?

Ask against the actual regulation text (29 CFR 1904). Bandages as first aid get a cite. A Toyota torque spec gets a refuse — that is not an OSHA recordkeeping question.

3. Give me the OSHA file

Keep this year’s cases, print the 300A posting sheet, download the 28-column CSV OSHA’s upload accepts. You log into injurytracking.osha.gov and send it.

Late 2025 filings are still accepted by OSHA through December 31, 2026. The next timely deadline for calendar year 2026 is March 2, 2027. The posting on the wall runs February 1 through April 30.
